religIons faith and thought, I come to speak on the subject of
great importance in the world of matter andthe
word"matter's that I spurned in my teachings.
" 'Fbr aperiod of six decades, the material body that I used to
live in was a torment to me, even tho the different
kinds of healing service were extended to me by the various
classes of healers. Herbs, nostrums, all and sundry failed
to give relief whichever methods were used.
.. ' The spirits of God tried by various means and methods to
bring my mind into use for the glorification and
acknowledgement that there was another world besides the world of
matter as we now know it. My swoons or semi -
trance conditions were a II a r bi n ger of things that spirit
wanted produced thru my mind and body, but I really
fought it, being ignorant of the working of God's law of
communication thru me as an instrument or medium of
Two Worlds' connections. Finally after much soul searching for
relief to my ailing body, I was led to the great
healer who was at that time trying to emulate the healing methods
of Jesus Christ -- the then-known person of P.P.
Quimby of Portland, Me. His success with persons who were
obsessed or diseased, were healed by mind over matter
suggestions, that healed about 85% of his patients. Later in my
meditations. I received numerous visions and was
able to see into the spirit world, especially at one time when
the patients were being told that now they were in
spirit ether and not in the body of matter any more, and that
their ills were now only a matter of memo ry o f mind.
Spirit doctors and nurses in my vision were teaching the new
spirits that were newly arrived that they had no matter
todeal with now, to forget their so-called ail
w ments as it was their imaginatioq. There is no matter herp and
it is only your mortal mind that recalls the aches
and oains endured.
